summer {part one}

i cannot believe summer is over, but so it is.
school has started, the leaves are turning yellow, and the rainy season has come.
i have not posted in soooo long. so, here is a summer recap.
hiking, camping, canoeing, blueberry picking, salmon fishing, anchorage, talkeetna,  lots of adventure.
{making a most beautiful dive on the pavement while jumping bikes}
i've decided to recapture the summer in parts.
so as to not overwhelm publishing.

we still do not have access to internet at our house. the new tower is being built a little more each day.
maybe once i have internet i will be more regular in posting.

this was a beautiful evening in early june when we floated down badger slough.
it's a very simple canoe ride if you have just a few hours available and the water is breathtaking.
the moss flows through bottom of the clear water is shades of bright yellow and green.
please note the placement of the sun, the float happened around 9 p.m.
hope loved her first canoe ride.
